Stefan is a start-up entrepreneur, investor, advisor and industry expert in financial services (family office, investment space and private wealth management) and technology (fintech, renewables and med tech) at Ruile & Cie. He lives his passion for capital markets and investing, and shaping businesses operationally at the same time.
Previously, he was Chief Investment Officer and Member of the board of a Zurich-based Multi Family Office, where he was in charge of strategic asset allocation and the investment in all liquid asset classes, in particular bonds, equities, commodities and alternative investments such as hedge funds. He was also responsible for other family office services such as controlling & reporting. Prior, he was in a similar function in a German Single Family Office.
Earlier, Stefan was with Deutsche Bank, where he specialized in asset management, family office and ultra high net worth clients (UHNWI). As a founding member of Deutsche’s Private Wealth Management unit, he contributed significantly in defining and successfully implementing PWM’s business model when working with UHNWI clients and family offices, including the development of the EUR 500bn+ German family office market.
Mr. Ruile has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, a strategy consulting background from working with management consultants Bain & Company and holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne, Switzerland.
