Hugo Breton began his career as a business consultant at McKinsey & Company. He led performance transformations in the Americas and Sub-Saharan Africa across the technology, retail, automotive and logistics industries. He later joined Citibank, where he implemented new marketing and retail banking processes. Hugo led the Latin American operations team for Riot Games, supporting League of Legends, the world’s most played PC game, and the launch of four new titles. He co-founded Octhopus Virtual Assistants, a bilingual executive VA firm operating across North America and Latin America.
Hugo is a Strategy & Operations Consultant for the video game and tech industries and the Managing Partner at Game of Biz, based in the Greater Toronto Area. He works with studios that want to scale smart, building the operational foundation to match their creative ambition.
Hugo holds an MBA and an M. of Eng. in Manufacturing from the University of Michigan. He lives in the Greater Toronto Area with his wife, a son in university, a daughter in high school, and a hyperactive border collie. He loves writing, reading, movies, music and video games.
