Karin Hogsander is a London and UAE-based independent advisor with over 20 years of experience in strategy and operational transformation. She began her career in M&A and Leveraged Finance at JP Morgan before spending 7 years as at BCG, where she specialised in healthcare, post-merger integration, and commercial strategy.
Since 2015, Karin has worked as an independent advisor and interim executive, with a particular focus on PE-backed businesses undergoing transformation, growth, or integration. Recent interim C-suite roles include Chief Transformation Officer at Rosemont Pharma and Interim COO and MD at Highberg. Earlier roles include Head of M&A at Bupa Global, Head of Strategy at Bupa International, and Executive Partner at Circle Health.
Karin’s core expertise spans corporate development, revenue expansion, operating model design, post-merger integration, and transformation leadership, with deep experience in cross-border and international contexts. She co-founded Airsupply Solutions, a venture-backed edtech marketplace, and served for nearly nine years as Deputy Chair and trustee of Versus Arthritis, one of the UK’s largest medical research funders.
A Swedish native, Karin splits her time between Europe and UAE. Outside work, she stays active across a wide range of sports and has a passion for creative writing.
