Deepa Rajagopalan was most recently Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Viridian Therapeutics. She joined Viridian to lead New Product and Portfolio Development in 2021. In this capacity she led corporate and portfolio strategy, corporate development, new product planning and drug device combination product development for a portfolio of rare and autoimmune best in class monoclonal antibody therapeutics. Prior to joining Viridian, Deepa was VP of New Products at Intercept. In this role, Deepa led commercial planning, early-stage development, and corporate development for Intercept’s pipeline.
Prior to that she held strategy and global marketing roles at Alexion. Previously, Deepa was a leader in the healthcare consulting practice at Bain & Company and built and led the biopharma commercial strategy practice at Science Group PLC. She previously trained at the Cleveland Clinic Health System and at Western Pennsylvania Hospital.
Deepa received an M.D. from University of Delhi and an M.B.A. from London Business School.
