Sean Maurer started his career as a market research consultant with ACNielsen BASES doing new product research for companies like P&G, GP, and GlaxoSmithKline. After business school at Duke, he worked for BCG in the Atlanta and London offices with clients such as IP, Boeing, B&Q and Kroger.
Following BCG he held a progression of director and VP roles in corporate strategy, marketing and merchandising for Tyson Food’s, Hershey’s and Ahold Delhaize (Giant, Stop n Shop). Since 2016 he has worked as an independent consultant. Projects have spanned PE due diligence, customer journey mapping, new product strategy, and market research. Clients have included Tyson Foods, YUM brands, Live Nation, and Pentair as well as PE and construction companies.
Currently based in Barcelona, he consults on 1-2 projects per year, usually in the winter months.
