David Salinas is a senior advisor, consultant and facilitator on strategic, organisational, governance matters. His practice includes organisations in philanthropy, international development, global health and the private sector — and draws on his combined experience of working at senior level within complex organisations and developing a cross-cutting view as an external advisor.
David was formerly COO of Porticus, a large family foundation with a global focus; head of grantmaking at Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance; head of strategy and policy at the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; and a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
David’s functional expertise includes, among others, strategy development, landscape review, facilitation, governance refinement, design and delivery of ambitious initiatives, organisational effectiveness/development, change management, multi-stakeholder consultations, collaboration and partnering.
