Daniel is an experienced ex-McKinsey project lead focused on strategy development & operational improvement across a variety of sectors. He is a rigorous, analytical problem solver, noted for his thought leadership and his ability to structure projects in complex stakeholder environments.
Daniel started his career as an engineer in the technology sector, initially as team lead at Roper Industries in the US, before becoming an entrepreneur – founding and running his own engineering firm, specialized in electron optical instrumentation.
He then joined McKinsey, where he grew to Engagement Manager and particularly focused on strategy and operations projects across a broad range of sectors. Upon leaving McKinsey Daniel started as independent consultant and has since successfully delivered over 40 projects.
Daniel holds an MSc in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology. He is Dutch and lives in Haarlem.
