John Reichel is an independent consultant, specializing in retail and consumer brands. He spent six years as a consultant/Project Leader/Principal at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG). His work at BCG focused largely on retail and consumer brands and has covered many functions and topics. Following BCG, John spent three years at Wayfair, holding leadership roles in Marketing, Merchandising and Supply Chain/Logistics. He also spent two years at Bed, Bath and Beyond, where he oversaw the ecommerce delivery experience and omnichannel experience, as well as managed the returns business as well as a few other pieces of the BBB business. As an independent consultant, John has worked with retailers and brands, focusing on topics such as Marketplace launch / optimization, supply chain excellence and general growth strategy.
John lives outside of Boston, MA with his wife, two kids, two dogs and three cats. As a parent to two young children, he no longer has personal hobbies, but does his best to enable the activities his kids enjoy.
John is open to working with companies in the Consumer space. He is open to different working arrangements (full capacity / partial capacity; on-site / remote).
