Dirk worked at BCG between 2004 and 2013, focusing on strategy, marketing & sales, and organisation projects for mining, metals, and machinery clients in Europe and Africa. Since 2019, he runs his own consulting boutique Nordkap.consulting, which focuses on strategy, pricing, and commercial excellence topics in a range of B2B and B2C sectors.
In between, Dirk worked as an independent consultant (including leading several pricing projects for Simon-Kucher & Partners) and founded two start-ups, one of which was sold to a market-leading competitor, the other one closed after the pilot phase.
