The professional does not wait for inspiration.

“The professional does not wait for inspiration” is a quote by Steven Pressfield in Turning Pro, a short book I read every year.

In other words:
Don’t wait for inspiration to arrive before you get to work on your novel, language lessons, film, opera, startup.

Instead, get to work.

Inspiration is the outcome of showing up every day, not the prerequisite.
