Umbrex is pleased to welcome Zain Mamood. Zain Mamood brings over a decade of experience across strategy, operations, and finance. Most recently, he served as an Associate at McKinsey & Company, where he led initiatives across financial services, insurance, logistics, and technology sectors. His projects have included integrating a major fintech acquisition, designing a multimillion-dollar revenue growth strategy for an insurer, and implementing cost optimization programs for private equity-backed companies. Prior to McKinsey, Zain held multiple roles at Cummins-Meritor, including Senior Financial Analyst and Buyer, driving supply chain optimization and global sourcing strategy.
He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.A. in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. Based in Washington, DC, Zain enjoys playing and watching soccer and golf, cooking, and traveling.
