Shirae is a healthcare and biotech professional with a background spanning strategy, operations, and lab-based R\&D. At McKinsey & Company, she led projects across life sciences and healthcare, including strategy development, organizational transformations, and due diligence. Previously, she was a Senior Cell Processing Engineer at FloDesign Sonics (acquired by Merck), where she helped develop and validate the company’s MVP platform.
Shirae brings deep expertise in tissue engineering, stem cell therapy, and CAR-T, along with practical, hands-on experience running lab operations.
Based in Silver Spring, Maryland with her husband and two children, she is open to collaboration in healthcare, biotech, and AI-enabled life science ventures.
