Umbrex, a global community of independent management consultants with prior experience at top-tier firms, is pleased to welcome our newest member, Shahtaj Malik. Shahtaj spent 3 years at McKinsey, working with high-profile clients and leading giga projects, in both the public and the private sectors, across KSA, UAE, Europe and Pakistan.
Prior to McKinsey, she spent 4 years building tech-enabled businesses, including launching several startups for investors and venture studios, while leading a team of over 80 people.
She also had the privilege of working with Pakistan’s former IT Minister to launch several tech-enabled ventures. Shahtaj holds a bachelor’s degree with a major in Accounting & Finance and a minor in Economics, from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
She graduated with distinction and was on the Dean’s Honor List throughout all four years of her undergraduate studies. She is open to collaborating on projects involving digital & organizational transformation, public sector strategy, expansion strategy, cost optimization, governance, operating model design, and banking.
