Umbrex is pleased to welcome Peter L Allen with Allen Strategies. Peter has extensive experience developing people and organizations in a variety of fields, including technology, management consulting, travel, venture, healthcare, and education. He’s currently chief people officer and head of learning and leadership development in two related investment firms in New York. Peter has 20 years of experience in strategy, learning and development, management of global organizations, and executive coaching.
Peter’s education includes an M.B.A. in strategic management and healthcare management from Wharton and a Ph.D. in the humanities from the University of Chicago. He is a graduate of the Hudson Institute of Coaching and an ICF certified coach. He’s worked at Google and McKinsey, and has also taught at a number of leading institutions, including Princeton University, Pomona College, and Yale-National University of Singapore College.
He’s lived and worked in the U.S., Thailand, Singapore, the U.K., and France.
