Umbrex is pleased to welcome Nitin Bobba. Nitin brings 8 years of experience across a unique combination of top-tier management consulting at Bain, early-stage venture capital at Matrix Partners and operating experience in high growth consumer internet setups.
At Bain, Nitin’s focus areas were in E-Commerce, Consumer & Retail (growth strategy, new category entry & expansion, revenue acceleration, loyalty program design) and Commercial Due Diligences (for large global funds & corporate VCs across geos). He also combines real-world operating and investing experience along with his consulting experience, having been an operator at Meesho (India’s 3rd largest e-commerce company) and as a VC at Matrix Partners (top-tier investment fund). At Matrix, Nitin sourced and evaluated over 30 deals, and wrote 2 seed checks in his time there.
In his free time, Nitin enjoys traveling, riding motorcycles and reading. He is based out of Chicago, IL where he stays with his wife and their Golden Retriever.
