Umbrex is pleased to welcome Michelle Wald. Michelle is a strategic leader passionate about using business as a force for good. She has significant experience in strategic planning and operational execution across small and large consumer goods companies. After studying business as a dual-sport athlete at Cal, she started her career in management consulting at McKinsey, then built a multi-functional skillset across various roles and geographies at Nike, and most recently led the US expansion of Tony’s Chocolonely, a Dutch impact company with a mission of 100% slave free chocolate worldwide.
Michelle is open to connecting and discussing potential opportunities. She’s comfortable with typical corporate clients and also especially excited about leveraging her strategic skillset at purpose-driven organizations with strong values and a desire to drive positive impact. Currently based in Portland, OR, she enjoys playing sports, drawing, custom cake decorating, and chasing the sun.
