Umbrex is pleased to welcome Matthew Miller with Grey Duck Solutions. Matt is a strategy and operations leader with experience in strategic planning, market analysis, AI, and cross-functional project delivery in consulting, startups and the military. He launched his own consulting practice Grey Duck Solutions in 2025 to tackle problems at the intersection of data analysis and business strategy.
Prior to setting out on his own, Matt was Operations Director for a legal-tech startup and spent two years executing market strategy, financial planning and analysis, and vendor cost optimization with BCG for public sector and healthcare clients. He built his analytical expertise as an enterprise data analyst for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota and his strategy and operations fundamentals in his MBA from the University of Virginia and service in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife, son, and dog and is an advocate for land use reform in his community. Matt is excited to partner on data-driven, strategy and operations projects.
