“I build practical solutions at the intersection of agriculture and AI—tackling strategic decisions with billion-dollar stakes (like guiding national food-security plans or agricultural infrastructure investments) and tactical decisions worth millions in EBITDA (such as optimizing supply chains and hedging commodity price risks). To achieve this, I leverage machine learning, geospatial analytics, mathematical optimization, and full-stack software engineering.
Previously, as a Director of Data Science (Associate Partner) at McKinsey, I led global agriculture analytics initiatives and advised senior executives worldwide. I’ve also founded AI-driven businesses in China and worked extensively in entrepreneurship, technology, and consulting roles.
With an engineering/data science background from Berkeley, Oxford, and Tsinghua, and a continued focus on publishing AI research, I ensure that AI solutions are rigorous, practically deployable, and directly linked to measurable ROI.”
