As a people pleaser from way back, it has been hard for me to find my voice — especially when I have something to say that might sound critical to others.
I know many other queer people — and women… and POC… and others who have been left out of these conversations for far too long — often feel the same way.
However, as I continue to find my voice I am thrilled to discover how damn liberating and exciting it is.
Part of me wishes I had been much more candid much earlier in my life.
On the other hand, I think I needed to listen a lot to understand what it is I really want to say…
