Philip Crandall shares a short post and a link to a product creativity accelerator.
I made a Product creativity accelerator.
Today I was thinking about the relationship between assumptions and creativity. The more constrained your solution space by assumptions, the less creative you can be with solutions.
Every Product Manager has (or should have) objectives, and the solutions available to them depend on how many assumptions they hold constant.
I made a prototype of a tool that helps PMs to identify their assumptions, and then to identify solutions in the “zone” where they are able to operate.
I’ve tested this out and while it is highly dependent on the quality of the context you provide, it’s pretty good for an out of the box solution.
You can try it out at the link in comments.
