1 Slide Type Name
Calendar‑Grid Timeline
2 One‑Sentence Purpose Statement
Helps audiences answer “What is scheduled for each specific month (or quarter)?” by presenting initiatives in a familiar calendar layout.
3 Visual Description (Designer Instructions)
- Use a 16 × 9 slide and draw a matrix that looks like a wall calendar: columns for months (or quarters) and one to three rows for initiative “lanes” (e.g., Work‑stream A, Work‑stream B, Campaigns).
- Each cell is a lightly‑bordered rectangle (no fill) with the month/quarter name centred at the top.
- Inside the cell, place coloured blocks or bullet icons representing scheduled items; align them left‑to‑right in chronological order if multiple items fall in the same period.
- Use one muted fill colour for blocks, with different shades or subtle icons to distinguish initiative types (launch 🎉, campaign 📢, event 🏆, etc.).
- Show a vertical shaded band across the current month/quarter to orient viewers; add a slim “Today” marker on the left border of that band.
- Optional: above the grid, include a compact legend explaining colour/icon coding.
- Keep sizeable white margins so the grid is readable and nothing touches slide edges. Use a consistent sans‑serif font; month labels in 12‑pt bold, item text in 9‑pt regular.
