Health Sector Consulting

Health Sector Consulting at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business is an applied consulting project course designed to develop reflexive practitioners capable of eliciting client requirements, defining problem statements, and delivering actionable solutions. Using case studies, individual memos, and team project deliverables, students apply MBA-acquired skills to solve real-world healthcare challenges.

Teams of up to four students collaborate on projects curated with sponsor organizations, tackling issues such as revenue cycle optimization in academic medical centers, international pricing strategies for pharmaceuticals, and hospital safety culture improvements. Sponsors actively engage throughout the project, providing access to their organizations and offering continuous feedback.
