Umbrex is pleased to welcome Sohil Parekh with Deep Sea Strategy.  Sohil has 20+ years of experience advising and operating technology businesses and digital channels. He is particularly skilled at leading teams through periods of change. Sohil has done this in a diversity of industries (healthcare, retail, e-commerce, telecommunications, high-tech). Before stints at Aetna/CVS Health, Staples, Gazelle (Venrock-funded startup) and Microsoft, Sohil began his career as a management consultant at Boston Consulting Group and Capgemini.

He holds an MBA in General Management from Harvard Business School and an MS in Technology & Policy from MIT. Sohil lives in the greater Boston area with his wife, a college professor and published chemistry poet, and their two children, who are in middle school. He also maintains a presence in Western India, where he has strong family ties. Sohil is available to collaborate on projects on a fully-remote basis, working US East Coast AM hours.
