Umbrex is pleased to welcome Rumbidzai Mufuka with KAVA Consultancy.  Rumbidzai spent five years as a communications and change management specialist in the public sector practice at Booz Allen and Guidehouse (formerly PwC Public Sector. She has been running her own consulting firm since 2020, and has supported select nonprofit clients since 2016. After her time in the public sector, she launched and managed 100+ consulting projects for nonprofits in DC, Chicago, and Philadelphia with Compass Pro Bono. She later joined the first Strategy and Operations team at Twitter tasked with integrating Legal, Public Policy, Compliance, and Trust & Safety functions across the organization.

Prior to Booz Allen, she was a Leadership Analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency with a focus on sub-Saharan Africa. Whether she’s supporting government, private sector, or nonprofit clients, she uses her expertise in connecting people, processes, and purpose for meaningful transformation. She lives wherever the sun is shining for most the day, which right now is between Portland, ME and Washington, DC.
