Welcoming New Member James Anderson
Umbrex is pleased to welcome James Anderson. A summery of James’ experience follows:
“I am currently a freelance consultant and trainer, with a focus on leadership development and strategy in healthcare, health data and research. I am also a qualified executive coach. From 2016 to 2021, I was a Senior Principal in IQVIA Real World Solutions (RWS) Enterprise Solutions Team, where I led projects to find, generate, and analyse real world data to improve health research and care.
From 2012 to 2016 I was managing director of a health partnership, bringing together healthcare, local government, academia and industry to bring innovations for improved health to the people of Essex. Before that, I had operational oversight of a £300m hospital business at leading London Teaching Hospital, and was deputy to the Medical Director. At the start of my career, I worked for 10 years as a management consultant in major international consultancy firms (Accenture and McKinsey). I have also worked as a non executive director of an acute hospital in the NHS.
Specialties: Leadership development, strategy skills training and coaching. Real world evidence, oncology, health partnerships, hospital operations, planning and performance management. Strategy development and organisation development in pharmaceutical industry, healthcare payors and providers, and international development NGOs.”
