Umbrex is pleased to welcome Gunther Gerlach with Gerlach Consulting. Gunther has over 25 years of experience in international top management consulting and C-level roles including growth strategies, transformation, restructuring, M&A, and internationalization.

He has a background in multinational operational leadership and management consultancy roles. Prior to his consulting practice, Gunther was CEO of Epple Druckfarben AG, a German printing ink manufacturer. Before he held several C-level management positions in Germany, Poland and Russia in the media, publishing and multi channel retail sector. He started his professional career with McKinsey & Co.

Gunther holds an MSc. in Industrial Engineering and Management (Dipl. Wi.-Ing) from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). He speaks English and German, and has basic knowledge in Czech, French, Hungarian, Polish, and Russian.

Gunther and his family live in Augsburg, Germany and he enjoys classical music, traveling, biking and swimming.
