Held leadership positions in projects in multiple industries including media, beverage, consumer package goods, retail, education, and logistics. Gonzalo A. Autrique, Founder and President of AUTRIQUE CONSULTING GROUP S.C., is one of the leaders transforming the retailing supply chain in Mexico. Gonzalo’s experience gives him a combination of operational and strategic skills in areas such as sourcing, procurement, distribution, inventory management, warehousing, network and DC design, maintenance, and automation.
He is formerly Director of Logistics in Wal-Mart de Mexico y Centroamerica defining the strategic growth of Walmex logistics, where he helped manage their logistics network to reduce and delay capital expenditure. Helped to optimize their productivity and logistics low cost strategy. He has provided a broad range of supply chain solutions, strategic and industry oriented consulting services to retailers and manufacturers. He is also deeply involved in industry forums such as “Noveno Conversatorio en Materia Contractual” (Alcaldía de Medellin) and speaking to college students. Gonzalo has set the industry standards on Distribution Center automation in Mexico. Designing and implementing several automated and mechanized merchandize sorters and inventory stock facilities.”
