Umbrex is pleased to welcome Assaf Sahar.   Assaf started his career at McKinsey and has been using his strategic skillset ever since. During the last decade he was part of Lumenis’ successful turnaround and NASDAQ IPO (LMNS, 2014), built and led a new business unit for Evogene (EVGN, Ag-bio), and founded a venture backed D2C wellness startup raising from top tier VCs (NFX and Altair).

Since 2021, Assaf have been advising several high profile VC backed startups, corporations, and investors on a range of commercial issues and assisted with over a hundred million dollars in fundraising. Assaf is an expert in growth strategy, capital raising, M&A’s , equity stories and working with management teams on issues that move the needle.

Assaf spends his time between Lisbon, Portugal and Tel Aviv, Israel. He is avid runner and a proud father to three adorable girls.
