Umbrex is pleased to welcome Erik Hällström with Hailstorm Venture Partners. Erik managed strategy and operational improvement initiatives at the Boston Consulting Group across a variety of industries (e.g., software, telecom, media, industrial goods & services, consumer goods & services, health care, financial services), serving multinational and emerging company clients in Europe and the US. Subsequently, he has built and transformed several technology and technology-enabled businesses as entrepreneurial CEO/CXO with several successful exits, private equity operating partner and investor. His experience covers business planning & strategy, go-to-market, due diligence & post-merger integration, operational turnarounds, organization design and digital transformation.

Erik earned degrees from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden (applied math/data science), Stockholm School of Economics (finance) and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD. He lives in Washington, DC with his wife and daughter.
