Welcoming New Member Ali Reza
Umbrex is pleased to welcome Ali Reza with Pier 70 LLC. Ali is a private equity operating partner with experience at KKR and TPG, where he led transformational change for portfolio companies in retail, consumer, health care and industrial goods sectors. He has also held general management roles with P&L responsibility, such as COO for a health care services start-up and head of market for a geographically distributed multi-site company with over $1B in systemwide revenues. He began his career with BCG, where he served clients in industrial goods, consumer goods and life sciences in the US, Greater China, India and Europe. He currently provides advisory services to investment teams seeking help with diligence, value creation plans, executive coaching for first-time CEOs, and execution of EBITDA and FCF improvement through revenue growth, expense reduction and working capital improvements.
He lives in New York City with his wife and two daughters who view LGA, JFK, and EWR as extensions of their home due to Ali’s frequent travel.
