Umbrex is pleased to welcome Florian Heitzenberger.  Florian has a BCG background, worked as Manager Corporate Business Development/Strategy for a global industrial goods company and has been running his own consulting firm focused on strategy, business model innovation, post merger integration and start-ups since 2018. Florian lives in Vienna (Austria) and is happy to collaborate on projects in Europe.

Lynn is a registered nurse with 5 years of clinical experience and a deep understanding of frontline care delivery.  As a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, she worked broadly across functions (operations, strategy and org) and developed depth in large-scale enterprise transformations. As a Vice President and General Manager at Kaplan North America, she led and grew a division that creates and delivers digital products for the institutional & retail nursing education markets.

She is excited to join her husband Andrew at Seay Associates, LLC, where she will be building out the firm’s healthcare practice. They live in Dallas with their daughter, Genevieve, and cat, Chicken.

He brings a unique combination of experiences in strategy consulting, startups, business development and the commercialization of new technologies in the life and physical sciences. Daniel seeks to help leadership teams figure out “where to play” and “how to win”. He is based in the Boston area.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Vasyl Davydko. Vasyl is an independent consultant with expertise in financial services, media and technology. Originally from Ukraine, raised in Spain since age of 13, he started his career at McKinsey Madrid office. He later worked at Amazon Spain, prior to joining as COO one of the leading SME digital lending ventures based in SE Asia. Vasyl later co-founded EduCredit, an education financing platform for IT students. He spent last year and a half as an independent consultant, working with organizations such as Bain & Co., Financial Times Strategies, GLG, amongst others.

Neeraj is a top-ranked investment professional with extensive experience in forensic accounting, corporate governance, fundamental equity analysis and thematic research. Vijay has over 25 years consulting and industry experience in information technology, digital and operations.  Prior to branching out with his own LLC, he was the Digital & Technology Leader (Asia Pacific) for KKR Capstone and prior to that he was the South East Asia Digital VP & Associate Partner for McKinsey Digital Labs, an arm of McKinsey & Company.

He is thoroughly experienced in solving complex business and information technology problems to boost sales and improve EBITDA.  His global work experience spans six countries.  Vijay’s expertise in digital solutions and core technology systems spans a wide range of sectors including banking & finance, metals, chemicals, oil & gas, energy & renewables, telecommunications, software products, high tech, consumer products, industrial products, distribution & logistics and others.

Vijay holds four degrees – two Masters degrees from MIT (MBA, Sloan School of Management and MS in Software Systems Engineering) and two bachelors degrees from Cornell University (Operations Research and Economics).

He is an avid traveler, loves tennis and swimming and holds a private pilot’s license.  Vijay is a citizen of the United States of America and is currently authorized to work in the USA, Singapore and India.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Paul Harrington with Pathfinder Consulting Group.  Prior to launching Pathfinder Consulting Group LLC, Paul spent ~9 years with McKinsey & Company, where he was a Partner based in Washington D.C. Within the firm’s Global Public and Social Sector Practice, Paul led the Go to Market (GTM) team, which spanned 23 countries.

Prior to McKinsey, Paul held roles General Dynamics Information Technology, Johnson & Johnson, Ariba (now part of SAP) and Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), and is a former U.S. Army officer. Paul has particular expertise in Public Sector Go to Market strategy and operating models, as both an advisor and practitioner.

Paul lives in Northern Virginia (near Washington, D.C.) with his wife and son. Paul is happy to collaborate on any topics related to Public Sector and/or GTM.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Nick Mork with Value Unlimited LLC. Nick spent eight years with Bain and Company, finishing in the case team leader role. He specialized in consumer products and private equity clients and was always rated top of his class for analysis. He then opened his own practice, performing Bain-like projects for clients at a fraction of the cost. One of those clients, a Fortune 500 paper and packaging company, hired him to be a senior director of strategy in charge of the innovation portfolio. When they closed his office, he returned to private practice.

He currently lives in Las Vegas, NV, but will be moving to Los Angeles soon. He is at his best when making controversial presentations or dealing with ‘scary’ datasets.

Casey has dedicated her career to advising leaders – including philanthropists and senior executives at Fortune 500 companies, large non-profits, and the United Nations – on how to strategically evolve their organizations and teams to ensure their operations and people are positioned for the greatest impact.

Most recently, she led Unlocking Potential, a non-profit established in 2017 and dedicated to expanding access to high-quality professional development in the social sector. Casey previously served as the Chief of Staff to philanthropist and financier Raymond G. Chambers, the Policy Director on Carly Fiorina’s 2016 presidential campaign, and an independent consultant for mission-driven businesses. She started her career at McKinsey & Company after earning a BA with High Honors from the University of Virginia.

She currently lives in Washington, DC, with her husband, daughter, and beagle.

Anu helps MNCs & venture funded start-ups with strategy, financial modelling & capability development – especially with a view towards building new business lines/initiatives. Prior to starting his own firm, he was an engagement manager with McKinsey in London, UK. He started his career as part of the asset-backed finance team at Wells Fargo in Charlotte, US.

As a tech entrepreneur himself, he is naturally passionate about digital transformation, future proofing businesses & upskilling existing team members. Richard has over 35 years of domestic and global experience in management consulting, transformation/change management, and technology operations/partnering. He has lived and worked throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. He maintains a global reputation in technology, enabling innovation for transformational change.

He has significant M&A experience including delivering numerous post-merger integration programs across the financial services, professional services, and entertainment industry sectors. He has held senior roles including Consulting Partner & CTO for PwC (formerly Coopers & Lybrand), Partner & CIO McKinsey & Company, and Sr VP Research & Development IGT (formerly GTECH, Corp).

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Nidhi Chadda with Enzo Advisors. Nidhi is a generalist growth investor and advisor across public and private markets. She is currently the Founder and CEO of Enzo Advisors, a global sustainability consulting firm focused on helping companies build best-in-class sustainable business models within an ESG construct and works closely with institutional investors to integrate ESG policies and frameworks across their investment processes.

Prior to launching Enzo Advisors, Nidhi was a portfolio manager at RBC Global Asset Management where she spearheaded the initiative to drive ESG integration across investment processes for her team managing $3 billion in assets under management in aggregate across 3 funds. Nidhi also serves on several advisory boards and investment committees at angel associations and venture funds. She is also a sector lead at Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater NY and a mentor at various tech accelerators (e.g., ERA, XRC Labs, NY Fashion Tech Lab, Endless Frontier Labs). Nidhi has 20+ years of experience as an investment banker, strategic consultant and investor. Umbrex is pleased to welcome Marco Berizzi.  Marco acted as Chief Financial Officer within pharmaceutical and medical device space and as Head of Business Solutions for a company developing business intelligence, advanced analytics and planning platforms in Switzerland since 2013. Prior to this, he spent almost six years in Bain & Company, Italy accomplishing business due-diligences underlying private equity transactions, serving financial institutions customers within corporate banking & risk management projects and dealing with business improvements & BPR projects in Oil & Gas sector. At the beginning of his career, he worked for Italian Stock Exchange mainly in the equity market listing department dealing with forty IPO’s.

He lives in the south part of Lugano lake in Switzerland with his wife and daughter. Marco is happy to collaborate on projects involving strategy, corporate development, financial issues for both industrial corporations and banks, organization and business efficiency and operational excellence.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Alexei Beltyukov with US Energy Ventures. Alexei spent five years working on strategy projects at McKinsey and has been an entrepreneur since 2007. His industry experience is mostly in traditional (oil&gas) and clean energy and transportation. Turnarounds and technology-based solutions for legacy industries are his passion.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Brent Packer with synthesize.consulting. Brent is a former Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. During his 5+ years at the Firm, he worked with Fortune 500, public sector, and nonprofit clients while specializing in digital/analytics/product and sustainability (recognized as 1 of 16 manager-level experts globally).

He has also worked with multiple startups and founded two social ventures, including an open-source zero-electricity structure that filters, cools, and dispenses water to help eliminate plastic waste.

Brent now has his own freelance consulting firm with work authorization in both the USA and Canada.

Having worked across the globe, Rob has over 20 years of consulting and industry experience focused on growth and innovation, product development and related operations. He previously worked at McKinsey as a Senior Expert in Product Development & Design. He led North Highland‘s Growth & Innovation Practice which became an ALM Top 10 practice under his leadership. While working at PwC (PRTM), SapientRazorfish and Kearney, his work entailed growth and innovation, digital enablement, and strategic sourcing. In addition to advisory services, approximately half of his consulting career entails interim management roles where he’s conceived, developed and launched new products and businesses for mature brands and start-up companies.

Along with his consulting work, Rob taught in the Marketing Department at the Wharton School for nearly 20 years, where he served as the Director of Consulting and Strategy in Wharton’s GCP. He was the Global Conference Chairman for the Product Development and Management Association where he led events and seminars. Known for immersive consulting experiences mixing fun and learning, Rob is a sought-out mentor enjoying long, deep developmental relationships with trusted clients, colleagues and students. Rob travels the globe with his family, enjoys baseball, teaches Bourbon design/development and is an avid hiker.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Stepan Chrz.  Before joining a data consultancy boutique as a Chief Commercial Officer, Stepan worked at McKinsey’s Prague office with a focus on strategy, transformations and B2B sales. He worked on 5 continents with clients spanning from light and heavy industry to telecoms and banks to online classifieds.

Stepan holds a doctoral degree in theoretical economics from Charles University and an MBA from Cambridge.

Outside work, Stepan is an outdoor enthusiast and a backpacker. During his travels, he tends to get himself into adventures that he later regrets. Sailing across the Atlantic ocean in an old 10m boat, running a 90km Vasalopet race without prior cross-country skiing experience, and crossing a rainforest on foot – these were all experiences that are fun only in hindsight. However, due to his selective memory he never seems to learn.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Alexander Savchuk. Alexander Savchuk started his career in Bain and subsequently has been running his own Moscow based telecom&IT consulting firm. Alexander developed entry strategy to the CIS markets and/or assisted in business development for a couple of dozens of hightech firms, to name a few: MCI, AT&T, Motorola, Siemens, Telenor, Ericsson, Microsoft, Cisco. All major Russian telecom companies were among clients of Alexander’s firm for strategy development for years.

In 2014 Alexander decided to take a midlife career change, sold his business and devoted his time to his 5 kids. Now he is developing his startup online platform to address the needs of distributed teams for online problem solving&decision making, strategy development and digital transformation programs’ coordination. However, Alexander would be happy to assist in any strategy development project on the territory of the former USSR.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Elias Schulze with The Africa Group.  Elias is an emerging markets entrepreneur and media strategist. Elias previously co-founded and managed Kana TV, Ethiopia’s leading television network, which was later acquired by Canal+.

He formerly served as an MD for Kaymu, a Jumia Group company, operating across 17 African markets. He is also Managing Partner of The Africa Group, an early-stage VC and boutique advisory shop focused on specialized opportunities in Africa. A former Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Company, Elias brings extensive strategic business experience to the frontier markets space.

Currently residing in London, Elias is a graduate of Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Elise Kidd Slansky with EMKS Global Consulting.  Elise spent five years as a Travel, Transport, and Logistics practice expert and researcher at McKinsey  and two additional years at Deloitte prior.  Since 2019, Elise has been running her own consulting firm, EMKS Global Logistics, LLC.  Elise is a passionate supply chain leader with recent warehousing, process improvement, and project management experience.

She is a driven and goal-oriented professional specializing in strategic planning, research, and analytics.  Elise excels at applying insights to achieve profitable growth, improve efficiency, control costs, and grow market share.  She has a record of working collaboratively across functions to share data and achieve alignment.  Elise is a dedicated producer who ensures prosperous operations both short- and long-term.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Laura Wheeler.  Laura brings deep experience in Strategy, Analytics and E-commerce which she has honed through her years at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey), as an operator at best-in-class retailers (Ross Stores and Gap), in client service as the Retail Practice Lead at a start-up marketing analytics consulting firm (Absolutdata) and culminating in P&L ownership as the General Manager/Chief Digital Officer at DTC divisions of Omni-retailers (Saks, Perfumania).

Her project work has covered a wide range of areas from designing and implementing a new data-driven planning approaches, employing sophisticated statistical methods to do multi-touch attribution modeling and launching a new retail concept with branding and organizational design components.

Throughout her career, Laura has been drawn to classic strategy problem solving and big data/analytics.  She would love to continue those types of endeavors on projects with the Umbrex team.   She currently resides in Irvington, NY (a suburb of NYC) with her 2 teen-aged children and 1 dog.  She is open to travel and ready to dive into projects that can leverage her Strategy, Digital Marketing/Analytics or E-commerce experience.

Rob shows companies how to quickly and profitably grow sales with certainty by using a data-driven market segmentation methodology called Scout X. Now the CEO of the Sterling Woods Group, Ristagno began his career at McKinsey and served as a senior executive at several private equity-owned businesses, including America’s Test Kitchen and Homesite Insurance. He has helped companies big and small, including Visa, Pepsi, and Comcast. His work has been featured on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Forbes, AdWeek, Digiday, and more.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Anil Kale with Midway Growth Partners.  Anil has over 20 years of experience in accelerating the growth of startups and business units of larger companies. Key experiences include growing Les Mills On Demand from $4M to $65M 2017-2020, Micron Imaging from $16M to $749M 2003-2008 and building 3 startups (one which went public, one which was purchased, and one that raised $68M from tier 1 VC’s).

Anil has been consulting through his own agency since 2011, focused on revenue and EPS growth acceleration within the technology, media and telecoms (TMT) and energy sectors.

Anil lives in Sunnyvale, CA with his wife and kids, and is training to ski in Antarctica (the last continent where he has not yet skied). Anil is happy to collaborate on projects developing product-market fit through scaling growth within any industry, anywhere in the world.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Camila Fernandez with Alux Management.  Camila Fernandez spent 4 years at Bain & Company and is setting up her independent consulting practice based out of the Dominican Republic. Her academic background is mostly Economics and International Development (Harvard Kennedy School). She started her career in government, then transitioned to Bain & Company and later joined Mercado Libre (NASDAQ: MELI) to run their fintech division in Mexico.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Theresa Nanigian with TN Executive Coaching. Theresa is an executive coach with a particular expertise in leadership. She works with senior leaders, those in leadership transition and teams to successfully lead themselves and others by taking a future-back approach to sustainable individual/organisational change. Before establishing her coaching practice, Theresa worked at McKinsey as a management consultant, headed strategic planning at a division of GlaxoSmithKline and ran a worldwide technology division at American Express.

She lives in Dublin, Ireland and splits her professional life between coaching and a visual art practice focused on social psychology and interpersonal connection. It isn’t unusual for these seemingly disparate disciplines to influence each other in creative ways to better serve clients.

Theresa would welcome collaborating on projects involving clients in Europe, UK and US.

She is also experimenting with novel formats to complement typical session- or retainer-based coaching relationships, such as short, sharp, intensive deep-dives for leaders who are super busy but could really benefit from a novel approach to changing patterns in their mindset or behaviour that have become deeply embedded over years of repetition. Umbrex is pleased to welcome Michael D Pollack with Pollack Consulting.  Michael has over 25 years at driving industry transformation and delivering insights through leveraging best in class analytics. Prior to Pollack Consulting, Michael was a Managing Director at JP Morgan in Asset & Wealth Management where he was the Global Head of the Portfolio Analysis Group, the group that provided investment analytics for both external and external analysis of JP Morgan’s investment performance.

Prior to this role, Michael was a Managing Director in the Corporate and Investment Bank also at JP Morgan. Before joining JP Morgan he was a Managing Director and Divisional CFO at Citigroup where he led the reengineering of the capital markets operations. Prior to Citigroup, Michael was the CEO at Pollack Consulting Group, an independent management consultancy that assists clients with their most difficult strategy, operational, and technology issues.

Michael also held senior roles at American Express and Booz & Company (now part of PwC). Michael was the founding Chair of the Board and a current Board member of School in the Square, a public charter school in New York City.

Michael earned his BA, Magna Cum Laude, in Computer Science from Princeton University and his MBA in General Management from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Sven Sauer with SVEN SAUER HEALTHCARE CONSULTING. Sven has over 25 years of experience in pharma and healthcare with deep knowledge and understanding of the German and various other European healthcare systems. In 2011, he founded SVEN SAUER HEALTHCARE CONSULTING, which successfully provides services to the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry in Germany and Europe.

Prior to that he held several senior executive roles with Eli Lilly in Germany, the US and across Europe; and he worked for McKinsey, consulting payers and pharma companies nationally and internationally. He started his medical career in neurology/neuroradiology, and gained legal experience in malpractice/physicians’ law.

Sven holds degrees in law from Mainz university, and medicine from Frankfurt university, and is fully licensed in both professions.

Sven is happy to work on pricing, reimbursement and market access projects as well as business development topics for pharmaceutical and medical devices companies in Germany and Europe

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Erica Reischer with Dr. Reischer Coaching.  Erica is a clinical psychologist, author, and executive coach. Drawing on over 20 years of experience as a psychologist, business leader, and management consultant with McKinsey & Company, Erica partners with leaders and the organizations they serve to hone leadership skills, enhance teamwork, support organizational change, and optimize workplaces.

In addition to her clinical and coaching work, Erica is a contributing writer for The New York Times, The Washington Post, Psychology Today, The Greater Good Science Center at UC Berkeley, and The Atlantic.

Erica holds a B.A. from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago in Psychology / Human Development. During her Ph.D. studies at the University of Chicago, she worked with Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, a pioneer in Positive Psychology and the author of “Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience.”

Erica lives with her family in Vancouver, BC and the San Francisco Bay Area. She is an avid hiker, swimmer, and skier, as well as an encaustic artist.

She is interested in collaborating on projects involving leadership development, executive coaching, employee well-being, and culture transformation.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Sanaz von Elsner with Von Elsner Coaching. Dr. Sanaz von Elsner is a certified systemic business coach and a certified career counselor.

As a coach she conducts workshops for a broad range of companies and non-profit organizations enabling them to improve teamwork, employee personal development of their employees and workplace atmosphere. She is specially focussed on all the leadership subjects and works with leaders on their struggles.

Beside Companies. She also coaches individual clients in these areas with a focus on regarding fields, especially to supporting them to take the next steps in their career and to follow progress along that path.

Additionally, she is an active Member of Panda Women Leadership Network and nushu female network, platforms offering a broad network to support women for in their personal development and to build up strengthen their career.

Sanaz worked before as a lobbyist for the Federal Association of Dentists in Germany, and previously worked as International Strategy Consultant for companies like PwC and B-Lue (a BCG-Spinoff and now Bain & Company). Prior to that she worked as a dentist in Germany and the Netherlands. She holds a PhD in dentistry.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome James Wilton with  Monevate. James Wilton spent 3 years at McKinsey and Company, where he led the pricing service line at Fuel (McKinsey’s practice for startups), and recently left to found Monevate, a pricing strategy consulting firm focused on serving growth-stage companies.

He has ~15 years experience in consulting roles, with ~9 years focused on pricing strategy transformation and new product pricing. Prior to joining McKinsey, he served as the Head of Strategic Pricing at RELX Group, and led the pricing practice at SBI.

James lives in Saratoga Springs, NY with his wife and 2 (soon to be 3!) boys. He loves stand-up and sketch comedy (used to perform!), and trying new food and wines.

James would be keen to collaborate on any projects in compatible time zones (US and Europe) involving B2B/B2C pricing, packaging and value proposition.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Berthold Hannes with Dr. Hannes Consulting. Berthold spent 15 years with A.T. Kearney in the Munich and Duesseldorf offices, leading A.T.Kearney’s Utility practice in Germany, Switzerland and Austria for many years. He was also a member of the European and global Utility practice leadership team. From 2006 until 2013 he was a Bain & Company partner in the Duesseldorf office, leading the Utility practice in GSA. In 2014 he started his own consulting business, based in Cologne.

Berthold works with medium-sized and large Utility companies, investors in the energy space and innovators. He has particular expertise in corporate and business unit strategy, business model development and innovation. For investors he is working on CDDs. He is invested in an Energy start-up in Zurich.

In 2010 Mark founded Influitive, the category defining advocate community company, which today is scaling profitably. Prior to Bain, James was a Chemical Engineer, and has worked on two oil refineries in the UK, as well as having an operations role for Conoco UK. He then spent five years working at the International Energy Agency (OECD) in Paris as an Energy Analyst and as the Special Advisor to the Deputy Executive Director.

Post Bain, James worked for Schlumberger Business Consulting directing strategy and operations improvement projects for upstream oil & gas companies, across the globe. His last permanent role was Director Global Strategy & Strategic Planning for Baker Hughes, a General Electric Company, an international oilfield equipment and services company.

Paul is an Associate at the Møller Institute at the University of Cambridge and also operates as an independent strategy consultant. Following a highly successful career within consulting then banking, he served in various law firm CEO and finance roles, and now focusses on consultancy to professional service firms.

After starting his strategy career with Bain & Company, Paul spent a decade in senior positions with Standard Chartered where he led the Board recommendation in the early 90s to exit the UK, US and Continental office network to focus on the fast growing markets of Asia Pacific and South Asia- a strategy that was not only ahead of its time, but resulted on SCB being the best performing FTSE 100 share in the year following the strategy’s announcement. He also led a global crisis team centred on India as well as being Regional Head, Sub-Saharan Africa. He then moved to Barclays Bank as Director for Group Strategy.

Paul completed his MBA jointly from Manchester Business School and HEC, Paris, also attending an executive programme at Harvard Business School which entailed study at Harvard, in China, and in Singapore as well as analyzing opportunities in India. His undergraduate degree was in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Trinity College, Oxford. In addition, he also has a first class Oxford University degree equivalent in Archaeology.

Last year, Aviv returned to Israel temporarily to start his own company specializing in importing and distributing innovative protective gear. Following a period of rapid growth, Aviv successfully sold his company and relocated to San Francisco to live with his husband.

Prior to joining Bain, Aviv spent three years practicing as a competition and finance attorney. Aviv advised and represented major Israeli and American financial institutions in matters relating to compliance with financial regulation, clearing mergers and acquisitions and launching new products and services.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Kinshuk Kocher. Kinshuk Kocher (KK) started his consulting journey with an internship at BCG. Post his bachelors in economics and a year in risk advisory services with EY, he moved on to McKinsey & Co. He spent a little more than 3 years with McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), the business & economics think-tank of McKinsey. Post that he advised companies across consumer retail, hospitality, healthcare on new market entry & business development before pursuing an MBA from Oxford.

After completing his higher education, he decided to move back to India to get involved with the startup ecosystem in 2017. He founded a health tech startup called Caredose, which tracks & ensures that chronic patients take their medicines as prescribed, every time. Kinshuk primarily focussed on strategy, business development & fund raising and is now increasingly playing an advisory role.

KK is an ardent Liverpool football club supporter and even led a strategic consulting project for the club during his time at Oxford. He recently got married and is living with his wife who is pursuing her PhD in Health Policy from UCLA. In 2017 Matt joined the global Executive Leadership Team of Harsco Corporation to implement the Environmental Services division growth strategy designed by Materia Consultancy. As VP Strategy, Business Development and Innovation, Matt was responsible for divisional strategy, acquisitions, strategic investments, and development of an innovation team.

Matt lives in Guildford, just outside London and has two children just starting high school.

After McKinsey Karin has pursued a career first in Executive Search and then in various Executive roles in Human Resources in the Pharma, Med Tech and White Goods industries. Since over 10 years she is an independent consultant and primarily focuses on organizational strategy, change, transformation and efficiency.

Karin has lived and worked in the US, Spain, the UK and Italy in addition to her native Sweden and is fluent in several languages. She resides in the Stockholm and greater Milan areas.

Umbrex is pleased to welcome Sertac Yeltekin with Zingforce Ventures. Mr. Sertac Yeltekin is the Founder and Managing Director of Zingforce Ventures “Z-Force”, a firm specialized in venture building, advisory and social finance based in Singapore. He is also the Co-founder and General Partner of Purpose Venture Capital, a firm investing in early stage tech companies with scalable impact prospects.

Mr. Yeltekin has 27 years of experience in the financial sector as a senior manager and consultant.

He is the Co-Founder of Etkiyap, the first impact investing platform in Turkey, dedicated to advocacy, training and fund-raising in Turkey and in the surrounding region. He is an investor in early stage companies in Turkey, Europe and Asia; a keynote speaker on asset management, alternative investments and impact investing globally; a contributor to numerous articles, blogs and training programs; and a moderator and commentator on TV and podcasts covering Asian and Global markets.

He has been Chief Operating Officer for Insitor Partners, a Singapore-based Venture Capital firm, active in impact investing to support social entrepreneurship in South and Southeast Asia since 2017.

Prior to Insitor, Mr. Yeltekin was Senior Vice President at Unicredit Banking Group from 2002 to 2017 in Italy with numerous C-suite and Board membership roles in asset management, banking, finance & planning and human capital management divisions. Before joining Unicredit in 2002, Sertac Yeltekin worked as a management consultant in Turkey, Israel and Italy at Bain & Company between 1998 and 2002.

Mr. Yeltekin holds many prestigious institutional roles in business education. He is currently an Executive-in-Residence in IMD Business School, Lausanne and Singapore; a Member of the Advisory Board for Bocconi University. SDA Business School, Milano, Italy; a member of the Advisory Committee of Cottino Social Impact Campus, Torino, Italy; and a Senior Advisor for European Foundation for Management Development, Brussels, Belgium. After attending Robert College in Istanbul, Mr. Yeltekin graduated from Swarthmore College, PA, USA with a B.A. degree in Economics and Political Science. Sertac also holds a graduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies in International Economic Relations at its European Center, Italy.

Mr. Yeltekin is fluent in Turkish, Italian and English. He has a working knowledge of German and French.

He joined the Firm as an experienced hire, having designed bits of Aero engines and run a battery factory on the edge of the Sahara desert. After consulting and profit responsible leadership in blue-chips, Alun focussed on helping early stage disruptive B2B businesses. Alun has returned to his roots in West Wales and is particularly interested in initiatives that contribute to the decarbonisation agenda and to the Welsh economy generally.

He was a core member of the Organisational Performance Practice. Before McKinsey David worked for Shell in a range of planning and marketing roles in London and Johannesburg. After McKinsey David was the Group Head of Strategy at Carlton Communications (now ITV), and then Executive Director of Credit Suisse’s IT subsidiary. He been a Senior Parter with Towers Perrin, and with leading brand consultancies FutureBrand (then part of McCann) and Lippincott (part of Oliver Wyman).

David has been running his own consulting practice, Hensley Partners, since 2005 working with clients across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East – and occasionally China, India and America. Jaime is an independent consultant in the process of setting up his practice, leveraging his experience with the public and private sectors in the Americas, with an MBA from the University of Virginia, and over 10 years of experience, including a two-year stint at McKinsey. Jaime has helped start-ups get off the ground, large corporations design strategy turnarounds, and worked with the largest LATAM e-commerce company doing product management with a strategy consultant mindset. He has helped municipal governments become more efficient (in Argentina), and designed public policies that boost economic development leaving no one behind (in the USA). He is passionate about challenging the status quo in both the private and public sectors with a focus on social, environmental, and governance impact.

He is constantly curious and a life-long learner, and speaks multiple languages to varying degrees: English and Spanish natively, intermediate Portuguese, and French and German conversationally; which he continues to refine. Waldemar is a Founding Partner of Metropolitan Capital Solutions, a strategic consulting and transaction advisory company, founded in 2009. He has over 20 years of experience in consulting, banking, industry, and government. He worked for McKinsey & Company in Warsaw, Poland. He served as a member of numerous supervisory boards of listed and unlisted companies, including Warsaw Stock Exchange. He spent over 10 years in investment and corporate banking in Switzerland (UBS), USA (IFC/World Bank) and Poland. He was Vice-President/CFO of PKN ORLEN, a Fortune Global 500 company, Vice-President of Bank BGZ/Rabobank Group, and President/CEO of DZ Bank Polska. He also was an Advisor to the Minister of Finance.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and Ph.D. in Physics. He completed 7 marathons on 7 continents and an Iron Men Triathlon in Poland.

Nigel began his career as an Economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia before joining McKinsey & Company and working in Sydney, New York and London offices. More recently, Nigel was a Partner and Director at Port Jackson Partners, a leading Australian boutique strategy firm founded by ex-McKinsey Partners. Nigel is also an Operating Partner with OneVentures, a leading Australian technology and healthcare venture capital firm with over A$500mil under management. Umbrex is pleased to welcome Darryl Stickel with Trust Unlimited.  Darryl served as a consultant for the Toronto office of McKinsey & Company prior to founding his own company Trust Unlimited. Darryl has spent the last 20 years helping individuals and organizations understand what trust is, how it works, and how to build it. During those 20 years Darryl has worked with a wide range of organizations around the globe on issues of trust. Included in this was work helping the Canadian military in it’s attempts to build trust with the locals in Afghanistan.

Darryl’s expertise on trust stems from his doctoral thesis, building trust in the face of hostility, written while at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. This theoretical knowledge combined with years of practical, applied experience give Darryl a rare perspective on issues related to trust. Jackie is a former McKinsey & Company Engagement Manager/Associate from the New York Office. She focused on strategic, organizational and financial advisory projects there and was known for ability to turnaround complex and struggling engagements. Prior to McKinsey, Jackie led the corporate finance and investor relations departments at MCG Capital. As an Assistant Vice President and public company officer, she managed a $900M portfolio of middle market investments.

Jackie began her career at Citi as part of the strategic planning team and advanced to a Business Unit Manager in their Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory division. Jackie earned her MBA at Harvard Business School and her BA in International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
