John Horn is Professor of Practice in Economics at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis. His micro, macro, and global economics courses are informed by his nine years as a Senior Expert in the Strategy Practice of McKinsey serving clients on competitive strategy, war gaming workshops, and corporate strategy. He is the author of Inside the Competitor’s Mindset: How to Predict Their Next Move and Position Yourself for Success. In addition to his book, John has also published numerous articles about applying behavioral economics and competitive insight in business strategy. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. from Harvard.
