Guest speaker bios:

Vonshe Jenkins is an SVP at Bank of America, serving as the Head of Supplier Diversity and Responsible Sourcing. She is responsible for leading a team that develops and delivers business strategies that lead the company’s efforts in increasing opportunities for diverse businesses (minority, women, veteran, LGBT, and disabled-owned businesses) to participate in Bank of America’s competitive Sourcing and Procurement processes. She also develops and implements the policies that set the expectations BOA has for its entire supplier base in the areas of business integrity, diversity and inclusion, human rights, labor practices, health and safety, and environmental management (ESG).

Waziri Garuba is an MLT Alumni who runs his own Advisory business (Harlem Labs Advisory) in Austin, Texas. Harlem Labs supports founders’ growth and strategy needs. He is also a founding member of the Global Majority Supplier Cooperative (GMSCO)
