Mark Avnet spent 5 years as an operations and leadership development consultant with McKinsey & Company, and he has held senior People leadership roles at HelloFresh and Wayfair. He has also worked as Head of People for a Series E ad tech startup, an internal HR consultant at San Francisco International Airport, a professor, a software engineer, and even a policy wonk at NASA. Mark has particular expertise in end-to-end talent strategy from a full employee life cycle perspective, focused on candidate assessment, performance management, career development, and succession planning.
He lives in Larchmont, NY with his wife, two young daughters, and one aging cat. In past lives, he’s been a marathon runner and a scuba diver and will eventually get back to at least one of those pursuits. Mark is looking for opportunities to collaborate on talent management, L&D, and other HR topics in the U.S.
