Lionel Johnnes is an experienced management consultant and startup veteran, specializing in Go To Market strategies, due diligence, and process improvements. He spent nine years at McKinsey & Company leading high-impact projects across energy, technology, and private equity sectors before founding his own consulting firm in fall 2025. He has deep expertise in the energy sector, having led the development of the McKinsey Global Energy Perspective on Power.
Prior to Consulting, Lionel led Marketing & Growth for a renewable energy startup through Series A and Exit. He regularly advises and invests in startups in U.S. and Europe. He combines his entrepreneurial mindset with corporate expertise to help clients accelerate growth and optimize operations.
Lionel holds a Master’s in Big Data & Business Analytics from IE Business School and a Bachelor’s in Physics from Washington University in St. Louis. He lives in Amsterdam, but keeps a foot each in New York and Northern Spain.
