I’m David and my niche is the intersection of Finance and Strategy in the financial sector. I have worked closely with CFOs and other senior executives on key strategic issues where analytical rigour and both business and financial acumen are critical. My past ~5-6 years were specifically in the Wealth & Asset Management industry while at CPP Investments (top pension fund) and Manulife (global financial Co.).
Prior to that I held corporate/global roles at Manulife, served a range of financial sector clients as a Consultant at BCG, and I originally began my career in Canadian federal politics as an aide to the Finance Minister. I am a generalist, can add value for a range of issues and enjoy variety.
